Terms of use
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and UZOBEST GSM SOLUTIONS LTD (RC: 9027627), a subsidiary of TOWN HALL INNOVATIONS LIMITED (RC: 7060742), NCC licence CL/S&I/0194/2025 ("UZOBEST GSM SOLUTIONS", "we", "us"). They apply when you use our website, our mobile app or our API to buy data, airtime, cable TV, electricity, exam PINs, recharge cards, bulk SMS, airtime to cash or any other service we offer.
By creating an account or using any of our services, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Your account
1)You must give your real name, a working email address and your own phone number, and keep them up to date.
2)One person may have one account. Creating several accounts to get around a limit, a bonus or a ban is not allowed. Such accounts may be suspended and their balances held while we investigate.
3)Keep your password and your 5-digit transaction PIN secret. Anyone who has them can use your wallet. We will never ask for your password or PIN by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email.
4)You are responsible for everything done with your account. If you think someone else has used it, change your password and PIN and contact us at once.
3. Verification and account limits
To protect your money and to follow Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) rules, some services need you to confirm who you are with your verification number (BVN or NIN), your name and your date of birth. Your account level decides how much you can fund, spend and transfer. You can see your level and limits on the Account limits page.
The details you give must be your own and must match the official record. A verification number can only be linked to a limited number of accounts. We may ask for more information before raising your limits.
4. Your wallet and funding
1)Your wallet holds money you have paid in, to pay for our services. It is not a bank account and does not earn interest.
2)You can fund your wallet by bank transfer to the account numbers reserved for you, or by the other payment options shown on the Fund wallet page. Any charge (for example ₦50 on each bank transfer, or 1.5% on card payments) and any minimum amount are shown on the page before you pay.
3)Only send money from accounts and cards that belong to you. Payments that are reversed, disputed or found to be fraudulent will be taken back from your wallet, and the account may be suspended.
4)Money sent to another user's wallet cannot be reversed by us once it has been delivered. Check the username before you send.
5)If money you paid does not show in your wallet, contact us with your payment details. We will check and credit it once the payment is confirmed.
5. Buying services
1)Prices are shown before you buy and may change at any time. The price you see when you confirm is the price you pay.
2)Check the phone number, meter number, smart card number and plan before you confirm. A purchase delivered to the number or meter you entered cannot be cancelled or refunded, even if you typed it wrongly.
3)Most orders are delivered within seconds, but some can take longer while the network or service company completes them. An order showing "Processing" is still being worked on. Please do not buy the same thing again until it is finished.
4)Data validity, speed and coverage are set by the mobile networks; electricity units and cable packages are set by the electricity and cable TV companies. We cannot change them.
5)Exam PINs and recharge card PINs are shown on your receipt once bought. Keep them safe. A PIN that has been shown cannot be returned.
6. Failed orders and refunds
1)If an order fails, the amount is returned to your wallet. Refunds go to your wallet, not to a bank account or card.
2)Sometimes a network delivers an order after it was marked failed and refunded. When that happens, the order is marked successful and the refunded amount is taken back from your wallet once.
3)If you have a problem with an order, contact us as soon as possible with the reference number on your receipt.
7. Airtime to cash
When you convert airtime to cash, you must only send airtime that belongs to you. We pay the amount shown for your network once we have received and confirmed the airtime, to your wallet or to your bank account as you chose and as the page allows. Airtime sent to the wrong number, or that cannot be confirmed, cannot be paid for or returned.
8. Resellers and API users
1)If you resell our services or connect to our API, you are responsible for your own customers and for the orders sent with your token.
2)Keep your API token secret and use the IP whitelist on the API page. Reset your token at once if you think it has been exposed.
3)Do not send automated requests to our website or app. Use the API for that.
9. Retailer website orders
When this service is available, the price shown on the Retailer website page is taken from your wallet when you order. We will contact you when the website is ready, usually within 7 to 10 days. Ordering a retailer website does not change your account level.
10. Things you must not do
You must not use our services:
1)for fraud, money laundering, or with money, cards or accounts that are stolen or not yours;
2)to try to get into other people's accounts or into our systems, or to disrupt them;
3)to pretend to be UZOBEST GSM SOLUTIONS, our staff or another person;
4)to send spam or illegal content through bulk SMS;
5)in any way that breaks the law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
We may report illegal activity to the police and other authorities.
11. Service availability
We work to keep our services available at all times, but networks, banks and service companies sometimes have problems that are outside our control. A service may be switched off for a while when this happens. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by them, but any order that fails because of them is refunded to your wallet as described above.
12. Our responsibility
We provide our services as they are. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses (for example lost profit or lost business), and our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
13. Suspending or closing accounts
We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is linked to fraud, or when the law requires it. Where the law allows, we will tell you why. You may ask us to close your account at any time; any money left in your wallet that is not under investigation will be handled as the law allows.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using our services after a change, you accept the new terms.
15. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
